The Quilted Cow is now a Project Linus drop-off location
We have our first designated drop-off location — and it’s a good one.

The Quilted Cow in Gulf Shores has agreed to take in finished blankets and donated supplies for Project Linus of Alabama Gulf Coast. If you’ve been holding on to a finished quilt because you weren’t sure where to bring it, this is your answer.
Where to find them
The Quilted Cow
3800 Gulf Shores Pkwy, Ste. 234
Gulf Shores, AL 36542
Please bring your items during their normal business hours, and let them know the donation is for Project Linus so it gets set aside for me.
What you can drop off
Finished blankets made to our blanket guidelines — new, handmade, clean and complete, with every pin removed. Quilted, knitted, crocheted, fleece; all of it is welcome.
Supplies are just as welcome: new fabric, fleece, yarn, batting and thread all go straight to our Blanketeers.
What happens next
I collect from the shop regularly, then sort, label and bag everything and deliver it to hospitals, shelters, police stations and other agencies serving children here on the Gulf Coast who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need.
Thank you
A genuine thank you to the team at The Quilted Cow for saying yes. Having a real place on the map makes it so much easier for people to help — and for a chapter this young, that matters more than I can say.
If you own a shop in Mobile or Baldwin county and would like to do the same, I would love to hear from you. Get in touch here.
