My first Project Linus chapter opening
Looking back — this post is from July 2023, when I opened my first Project Linus chapter, in Southeast Louisiana. That chapter transferred to another coordinator when I had to relocate. I now serve as Chapter Coordinator for Project Linus here on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
It was on July 19, 2023 that our chapter was born and I pray it grows to be a formidable force of good for Louisiana and beyond. Many threads of my beingness have been woven together and congealed to create the impetus for the birth of this chapter! I believe in Project Linus for so many reasons! First and foremost, it is our mission to bring comfort and a sense of security to children most in need of it! Beyond that, there are numerous positive effects that contribute to the well-being of the blanketeers themselves. More details to come!
For now, Happy Birthday to Project Linus of Southeast Louisiana!
